The Story
I wasn't born a triathlete. This is the road, race after race, that brought me here.

My first Olympic-distance triathlon

01 · My first Olympic-distance triathlon
I had never ridden a road bike and I swam terribly: I was completely improvising. After the bike leg they took my bib for missing the cutoff, but I decided to finish the race anyway.

02 · Half Ironman Cervia · 2023
A unique experience I still carry in my heart. I was terrified of the cutoffs: I gave everything I had and finished just under half an hour inside the 8-hour limit. I was over the moon.

03 · Half Ironman Cervia · the return
I signed up in April without training at all, and I had put on a lot of weight. I finished the race by skipping the last run lap, because mentally I had already given up. That defeat was a real slap in the face: I decided to knuckle down and get serious.

04 · Regional races · Olympic and sprint
I raced several regional triathlons, Olympic and sprint. In one I was pulled after the bike, but I was heading in the right direction. For two months I took swimming lessons, driving an hour there and an hour back. The mindset was forging the best version of me.

05 · Half Ironman Cervia · third time
I raced my third Cervia half with a smile. Oddly enough I finished a few minutes slower than the first time, but I was thrilled: it had been a unique journey. Meanwhile, entries opened for Alghero. My partner and I had just come back from Sardinia, in love with the island. I signed up straight away.

06 · The season towards Alghero
Even more than the year before, I give it everything: lots of regional races, consistent training and enjoying the process. I keep getting better.

07 · Half Ironman Alghero · 2026
I arrive in Alghero in great shape. A wonderful race that I enjoy from start to finish, and for the first time I cross the line in under 7 hours. Right there I make a decision: I'm signing up for the full Ironman in Cervia in 2027.

08 · After Alghero
Back home I do a few more regional races, and in one I'm pulled after the bike again. But I know I'll race it again in 2027, and I'll make it.

09 · Today · goal 2027
Today I train with determination and discipline. I've already signed up for two marathons, including Rome, and my big goal for 2027 is the full Ironman in Cervia.
A project born from an athlete's heart, for all athletes
I'm an amateur triathlete with a passion for technology and innovation.
I'm an amateur triathlete. Not a pro, not a former elite athlete, not a coach. Just someone who decided to take himself seriously.
On my side is the fact that I'm an expert in web, technology, and innovation, so I decided to combine my experience with new technologies like artificial intelligence and my passion for sport.
I took an in-person swimming course with my team. Useful experience, competent people.
But there was a simple, concrete problem: distance.
Training well is useless if you can't do it consistently. And when sport, work, and life don't fit together, even the right things become impractical.
Training apps promise a lot: personalization, adaptivity, intelligence. But after using them, one after another, I realized the problem wasn't finding a better one. The problem was the model.
In each one I found obvious gaps. So instead of looking for yet another alternative, I decided to build my own.
Those who practice it know. Equipment, registrations, travel, subscriptions. The budget adds up fast.
Adding continuous coaching, personalized plans, and advanced analysis becomes, for many, unsustainable in the long run.
BeProud.ai was also born from this: from the idea that training better shouldn't be a luxury.
BeProud.ai is a training system based on artificial intelligence and real data. It takes the complete history of your activities and:
No mandatory tests. No rigid schedules.
And most importantly: it adapts. Vacations, unexpected events, fatigue, recovery. Real life enters the plan, it doesn't stay outside.
The name BeProud.ai doesn't come from marketing. It evokes a message that someone told me just meters from the finish line of my first Ironman 70.3.
"I'm proud of you."
And if you've ever had similar experiences, maybe you can perfectly understand the emotion you feel in that moment. Being proud not for the time, not for the ranking; for the journey. Because I, like many others, am part of those athletes who start the race and have to watch the cut-off times (and I've been cut off before), those athletes who give it their all, who don't have perfect genetics and have some aches from time. For us, crossing that finish line is worth triple.
BeProud.ai doesn't replace coaches or trainers. If you're training with a team, that's the best thing you can do. Keep doing it.
BeProud.ai also aims to be a support tool for professional coaches who want to analyze huge amounts of data and need specific features. We listen to you and try to integrate everything.
If you recognize yourself in this story, BeProud.ai was made for you.

Training is a process, not an ego challenge.
Data is for understanding, not proving.
Every day a step forward.
Without noise. Without shortcuts.
Beyond the limit.
But with intelligence.
Train. Improve. Be Proud.

FAQ
Everything you want to know before your first workout.
BeProud.ai is an AI endurance coach that builds a personal training plan for triathlon, running, cycling and swimming and keeps adapting it to you. It is made for athletes with a real life, from first-timers to experienced racers, who want structured coaching around work, family and recovery without the cost of a private coach. The app is available in English, Italian, German, Spanish and French.
You set your goal and the days and times you can train, and the AI plans your workouts in short blocks of roughly ten days. Each new block is built on what actually happened: the sessions you completed or skipped, how they went and, when your devices share them, sleep, resting heart rate and HRV. Your race calendar shapes the whole season so you arrive at your key events ready.
Garmin, Strava, Polar, Wahoo and Suunto are live today: your activities are imported automatically and, where the platform allows it, planned workouts are sent to your watch or bike computer with steps and targets. Oura, COROS, WHOOP, Zwift, Fitbit and Apple Health are coming soon. Device connections are part of PRO; on the Free plan you can still import your training history from activity files.
Free (€0) gives you the AI personalized plan with your training type, main goal, history import, current-state assessment and strengths and weaknesses. PRO adds device integrations with automatic sync and workouts sent to your device, unlimited plan regeneration, secondary goals for the races of your season, the weekly Coach's Corner analysis, AI feedback on every workout and race, personal notes the AI uses to plan, calendar export, workout sharing, an ad-free experience and priority support. PRO costs €9.90 per month, or €99 a year billed annually (€8.25 a month: 2 months free).
Yes. You can cancel PRO whenever you want from your subscription page and it will not renew. Starting is free and does not require a credit card, so you can try BeProud.ai with no commitment.
No. You can start with your goal, your available days and your training history and follow the plan from the app on your phone or computer. A watch or bike computer makes things easier: with PRO, completed workouts flow in automatically, the AI adapts your next sessions to your real data and planned workouts are sent to your device ready to follow.
Triathlon, running, cycling and swimming, including duathlon and aquathlon, from sprint to full distance. Strength, yoga and pilates can be added as complementary sessions that support your endurance goal instead of competing with it.
Your data is used to coach you, nothing else: we do not sell personal data. Health metrics such as sleep, heart rate and HRV are read only from the platforms you choose to connect, and you can disconnect them at any time. From your profile you can download a copy of everything BeProud.ai stores about you or permanently delete your account, which also cancels any active subscription.
If you choose to connect Fitbit through your Google account, BeProud.ai gets read-only access, through the Google Health API, to your sleep (duration and stages) and to your health metrics (resting heart rate). We use them only to adapt your training load and recovery to how you are really doing, and we never write or change anything in your Google or Fitbit account. This data is never sold, never used for advertising and never used to train general-purpose AI models, and you can disconnect at any time from the Integrations page or from your Google account permissions. BeProud.ai's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Details are in section 4.3 of our Privacy Policy.
